Total Joint Orthopedics Welcomes Michelle Zawadzki to Board of Directors

Total Joint Orthopedics, Inc. (TJO) is pleased to announce the addition of Michelle Zawadzki to its Board of Directors. Ms. Zawadzki joins Teresa Ford, Erin Hofmann, Scott Lowry, and Gil Williams, giving TJO the first majority-female Board of Directors in orthopedics.  

"Michelle joins our Board as an accomplished leader in orthopedics, and we are excited to tap into her extensive knowledge and her experience in leading high-performing teams to innovative product design. Her expertise will be invaluable to TJO as we continue to grow,” said Erin Hofmann, Chief Executive Officer.  

Ms. Zawadzki concluded her 32 year career with Zimmer Biomet, a global medical technology leader, as Vice President of Global R&D. She received her Master of Science in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering from The University of Akron, Akron, OH, and her Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Interdisciplinary Engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN.

I am excited to utilize my experience in orthopedics to guide a very talented team while building on a history of delivering value for all stakeholders.
