TJO is seeking a Document Control Specialist to join our Salt Lake City office. This role is a critical function in ensuring our quality system operates smoothly to deliver high quality orthopedic implants and instruments to our customers. The Document Control Specialist reports to the head of Quality Management and is the essential key to ensuring that all of TJO operates under one source of truth. This role is a critical function to support quality system processes, new product release, and product lifecycle maintenance activities for all of TJO’s functions.
TJO is seeking a Product Development Engineer who is a self-starter, requiring minimal supervision and who is interested in maintaining existing products and developing new orthopedic implants and instruments. This position will lead projects and be responsible for design, development and design history documentation. As a Product Development Engineer you will need to be able to communicate ideas, concepts, designs, and requirements to a wide range of audiences including surgeons, engineers, sales & marketing, and manufacturing.
TJO is seeking an intern to join our Salt Lake City office for the summer. This role will provide students with real-life hands-on experience and mentoring in the orthopedic medical device industry. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute directly to implant and instrument development projects that will directly impact TJO's product offerings. While primarily working within Product Development, interns will also interact with other departments, including Quality, Regulatory, and Logistics to understand the entire process of creating a medical device. This internship will give students a glimpse into engineering, orthopedics, and medical devices to determine if this is an industry they would like to pursue further.
TJO is seeking a Buyer/Planner to join our Salt Lake City office. You’ll report directly to the Operations Manager. As the Buyer/Planner at Total Joint Orthopedics, you will be responsible for and manage purchasing, materials requirements planning, supplier relationship management, and product life cycles, among other things.
