FRONT

BACK

9° DOUBLE Q-ANGLE
The femur features a patented trochlear groove that allows optimal patellar tracking along a 9° double Q-angle on both left and right anatomy, while retaining a neutral outside profile of the anterior flange.
CRUCIATE RETAINING AND
CRUCIATE SACRIFICING TIBIAL INSERTS
Both a deep-dished Ultra-PS® Insert and a standard CR/Congruent Insert are compatible with the Klassic CR Femur.
4° SWEPTBACK KEEL
The sweptback keel offers 4° of posterior slope.
MODULAR KEEL INTERFACE
The sweptback keel offers modularity to allow for stem extensions and future augments. (Shown with 25mm Stem Extension)
CONFORMING CONGRUENCY
The M/L edges of the tibial baseplate and inserts have matching conforming geometry to provide consistent polyethylene thickness all the way to peripheral edges.
ANATOMICALLY OPTIMIZED
TIBIAL BASEPLATE

The tibial baseplate is designed to optimally cover the tibial plateau using a universal geometry.
ANATOMICALLY OPTIMIZED
GEOMETRY

Anatomically tapered posterior condyles, a proportional AP/ML ratio, and an optimized bone-covering geometry that minimizes
potential lateral overhang.
FEMUR CEMENT POCKETS

Recessed pockets combined with a grit blast finish for optimal cement adhesion.
PERIPHERAL PEGS
Four peripheral pegs for initial mechanical fixation and rotational stability.
BASEPLATE CEMENT POCKETS
Recessed pockets combined with a grit blast finish for optimal cement adhesion.
KLASSIC POROUS FEMUR
The Klassic Porous Femur features Cobalt 3D®, our proprietary asymmetric ultra-porous coating that offers excellent biological fixation with proven long-term ingrowth.
PERIPHERAL PEGS
Four peripheral pegs for initial mechanical flexation and rotational stability. The pegs are uncoated to decrease stress-shielding and sized to allow for an incremental amount of press-fit.
KLASSIC POROUS TIBIA
The Klassic Porous Tibia features Ti-Coat®, an ultraporous, three-dimensional sintered porous coating that offers excellent biological fixation with proven long-term ingrowth.
MODULAR KEEL INTERFACE
The sweptback keel offers modularity to allow for stem extensions and future augments.

PS-POST AND PS-MAX
POSTERIOR STABILIZED INSERT

The Klassic® PS-Post™ Femur includes a post-and-cam mechanism to create femoral rollback during high flexion while interacting with the articular surface of the insert to provide stability through the entire range of motion. Additional varus/valgus stability may be achieved by using the Klassic® PS- Max® Insert with no additional preparation.

EVOLUTION OF STABILITY®

The Klassic® Knee System is a modern universal design that offers an Evolution of Stability® to restore natural kinematics that will accommodate a variety of patient anatomy.14 A holistically designed system allows a spectrum of stability, from cruciate retaining through the maximally stabilized PS-Max® Insert, within one implant system, and within one workflow. Our proprietary Klassic ONE® instrumentation allows you to perform up to 90% of your surgeries with just one tray (100% with two trays).

TECHNOLOGY

AURUM TECHNOLOGY®
Aurum uses a patented ion beam enhanced deposition (IBED) process to create a well-structured, ceramicized surface layer that is interdigitated with the substrate while also preserving the material and geometric properties of the implant. Aurum®'s ion process ballistically bonds a five-micron (5μm) thick titanium nitride coating to a titanium substrate for strength, hardness, and adhesion.11
